California plane crash: Two dead, 18 injured in Fullerton accident

A tragic plane crash occurred in California. A small aircraft struck a warehouse near the airport in Fullerton, resulting in the deaths of two people and injuring 18 others.

According to the "Los Angeles Times," a surveillance camera captured the moment the plane hit the building's roof, leading to an explosion and a subsequent fire. Firefighters evacuated several hundred people from the warehouse and nearby businesses.

Police spokeswoman Kristy Wells reported that as a result of the accident, two people died, and 18 were injured. Ten of those injured required hospitalisation. It has not yet been determined whether the fatalities were aboard the plane or were on the ground.

Causes of the accident

The accident occurred just after take-off from the airport in Fullerton, California. The causes of the crash are currently unknown. Fullerton, located in Orange County, is a well-known cultural centre, home to California State University, Fullerton (CSUF).
