Cory Booker broke the record for the longest speech in the American Senate, speaking for a total of 25 hours and 5 minutes. During his extensive speech, the senator criticised numerous actions by Donald Trump, particularly his approach to the planned negotiations with Russia.

According to Booker, the United States should undoubtedly continue to support Ukraine in humanitarian, business, and military aspects. He reminded Trump of his intention to trade Ukraine in negotiations with the Russians.

The senator listed Russian war crimes committed by Vladimir Putin's soldiers since 2022. He emphasised the massacre in Bucha and the kidnapping of 19,000 children from Ukraine, taken away from their parents.

Cory Booker mentioned that the Russians attacked civilians, schools, and hospitals. They bombed civilian targets and tortured prisoners of war, said a visibly upset Cory Booker.

Cory Booker also clearly stated how the United States should treat Russia. He suggested that European Union politicians serve as examples to follow.

Booker after 22 hours of his speech said that considering all the atrocities committed by Russia, one might think that the United States would continue to treat Russia as an opponent and a pariah, just as other Western democracies do.

The American politician's speech was watched online at one point by over a million people.
