Delta plane overturns in Toronto: 18 injured, video emerges

A Delta Airlines plane from the United States crashed while attempting to land at the international airport in Toronto, Canada. Morning reports indicate that 18 people were injured, with three in critical condition. A video recorded by one of the passengers of the ill-fated flight has surfaced on social media.

The dramatic events unfolded on 17 February at Toronto Pearson International Airport under adverse weather conditions. The Delta Airlines plane overturned during landing.

There were 80 people on board, including four crew members. Fortunately, there are no reports of fatalities, although 18 people were injured. Three of them, including a child, are in critical condition.

Photos and videos from the scene have appeared on social media. They depict the large aircraft lying inverted on the runway.

Plane crash in Toronto. Dramatic recording from a passenger

One of the passengers of the ill-fated flight posted a short video, recorded immediately after the accident. In the opening seconds, we see a woman hanging upside down, still secured by her seatbelt.

In the following footage, passengers can be seen evacuating. "I just survived a plane crash, oh my God," says the shaken woman.

Another passenger shared a video on Facebook documenting the moments following the tragic landing. It shows firefighters dousing the overturned aircraft. The passenger told CNN that prior to landing, there was no indication that anything unusual would happen.
