Russian attack on Ukraine

Recently, Kharkiv and four localities in the Kharkiv region have become the targets of intense Russian attacks. These actions have resulted in the death of a 47-year-old man and injuries to 48 people. These attacks employed various weapons, including aerial bombs and drones.

In the past 24 hours, Russian attacks on Kharkiv and four other locations in the surrounding region of northeastern Ukraine have resulted in one fatality and 48 injuries, according to a Saturday morning statement from Oleh Syniehubov, head of the regional administration.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky emphasised that Russia is targeting residential areas, leading to tragedies among civilians. "Right now, Russia is yet again attacking Ukraine. Kharkiv has been hit by dozens of "Shahed" drones. (...) Russia is striking residential areas precisely when Ukrainians are at home, when they are putting their children to bed," Zelensky noted.
