Ukrainian services have released a photo illustrating what these explosives might resemble. The explosive object was described as a tube with square notches on the casing, with a diameter of about 5 centimetres and a length of 35–40 centimetres. Although those confiscated in Kyiv may vary from others, it is crucial for residents to stay vigilant.
What to do if you discover a suspicious object?
If a suspicious object is observed, the Ukrainian Ministry of Internal Affairs advises not to approach or handle it. "Make sure to warn your loved ones. If you spot a suspicious item, do not approach or touch it – immediately call 101, 102, or 112 [emergency services' lines]," stated in the announcement.
