Ingredients:

                                          
  • 6 eggs,
  • about 900 grams of canned poppy seed filling,
  • 80 millilitres of heavy cream,
  • about 140 grams of ground almonds,
  • about 60 grams of walnuts/hazelnuts,
  • about 60 grams of raisins,
  • about 60 grams of shredded coconut,
  • about 30 grams of chopped dried apricots,
  • about 100 grams of dark chocolate,
  • powdered sugar for sprinkling.

Instructions:

                      
  1. Transfer the poppy seed filling into a bowl, add ground almonds, and mix on low speed.
  2. Gradually add eggs to the mixture.
  3. Add chopped chocolate, heavy cream, and dried fruits, and mix with a spoon.
  4. Line a cake tin with a diameter of about 22-25 centimetres with parchment paper.
  5. Pour the prepared poppy seed mixture into the tin and place it in an oven preheated to 180 degrees Celsius. Bake for 45 minutes.

Decorate the baked and cooled cake with powdered sugar. You can also use icing or a chocolate glaze. The delicious, easy poppy seed cake is ready. Enjoy your meal!
