Harrison Ford, known for his iconic role in the Indiana Jones film series, will not attend this year's Oscars ceremony, scheduled for 2nd March at the Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles. The 82-year-old, despite his energy and dedication to his craft, must now prioritise rest and recovery.

Although he recently participated in the Screen Actors Guild Awards, this time he will be unable to take the stage. The reason is diagnosed shingles, which has forced him to withdraw from presenting one of the awards, according to "People" magazine. This illness, caused by the chickenpox virus, is characterised by pain and a rash. He was expected to attend the event with his wife.
