Hyundai Bayon post-facelift - what's new?

The updated Bayon sports a significantly improved look over its predecessor, fitting seamlessly within Hyundai's current range of models. This refreshing change is mainly due to the LED light strip that stretches across the entire front width. Directly below, triangle-shaped headlights sit, which, with their dark graphics, meld perfectly with the grille and bumper.

Internally, a large multimedia display, measuring 10.25 inches diagonally, is introduced. As typical with facelifts, the standard features have been enhanced. Further details will be discussed below. But first, let's delve into the engine options, which still include the petrol, naturally aspirated 1.2-litre. This is a pleasant holdover. But what about the cost?

Hyundai Bayon post-facelift - starting prices for each drivetrain

  • 1.2 MPI 79 HP 5MT - from approximately £18,500
  • 1.0 T-GDI 100 HP 6MT - from approximately £19,500
  • 1.0 T-GDI 100 HP 7DCT - from approximately £20,700

Customers can choose from five different equipment versions in addition to these three drivetrains. Notably, the base model matches the 1.2-litre engine. Conversely, most deluxe versions are exclusive to the 1.0 T-GDI petrol engine.
