Justin Bieber faces financial woes amid manager conflict
People have been discussing Justin Bieber's difficulties for some time now. TMZ reports that the singer might be experiencing financial troubles. According to their investigation, the star allegedly owes his former manager millions.
Justin Bieber has recently been in the global spotlight, mainly due to issues in his private life. For several months, the media have been reporting that the singer is not in the best of health. The paparazzi, who follow him, regularly document his gloomy demeanour as he wanders the streets. Recently, he argued with a paparazzo and requested to be left alone. There are also rumours of a relapse into addiction, and Justin himself posts concerning messages online.
Recently, foreign tabloids reported that the star might be facing financial difficulties. Sources cited by PageSix claimed that Justin "spends more than he earns." At 31, he hasn't released an album in four years, so he isn't earning from music sales. Despite this, he leads a very party-oriented lifestyle, squandering his fortune.
Justin's conflict with former manager
Justin's collaboration with Scooter Braun, who managed his career for years, broke down due to financial disagreements. The singer claimed that his former manager cheated on him. Now, TMZ has conducted an investigation, indicating that it was actually the reverse.
The portal cites multiple sources and reports that Justin was broke after the "Justice World Tour" concert tour ended. He was said to owe the event promoter $24 million because he prematurely ended the performances after receiving a $40 million advance.
Scooter's company (Hybe) reportedly extended a helping hand and paid the debt, with the singer committed to repaying it within 10 years. TMZ reports that he only managed to pay the first instalment. Sources close to Braun told journalists they received information indicating Justin had no money. Meanwhile, Bieber's financial representative, Lou Taylor, examined financial reports and discovered that the former manager was not paying him his due commissions, resulting in Bieber owing $26 million.
Hybe conducted an internal audit, which confirmed this and simultaneously showed that Justin owes Scooter millions. However, representatives of the 31-year-old considered it unreliable. Therefore, the company appointed an independent auditor, and after six months, it was revealed that Bieber owes Braun $8.8 million. TMZ journalists obtained the documents and confirmed this figure.
Informants from the 31-year-old's circle told the portal that his representatives did not dispute the results but conducted their review. What their review revealed has yet to be disclosed.
