Begin Valentine's Day with a sweet surprise board for your loved one
Ingredients:
- About 7 marshmallows,
- About 6 strawberries,
- About 10 raspberries,
- 3 heart-shaped lollipops,
- Around 10 gummy candies,
- 4-5 red pieces of chocolate,
- 4-5 pink pieces of chocolate,
- 6 strawberry wafers,
- 6 chewing gums,
- 8 slices of toast bread,
- 5 teaspoons of cherry jam,
- 7 homemade waffles,
- 6 heart-shaped pieces of chocolate,
- 4 Ferrero Rocher chocolates,
- 10 tubes with vanilla cream,
- About 5 tubes without cream.
Instructions:
Step 1. I begin preparing the sweet surprise by making homemade waffles as they are the most time-intensive part of the recipe. From each waffle, I cut out a heart. Cookie cutters are perfect for this job.
I lay out the prepared waffles on a rectangular board. I place some of the hearts alone and spread homemade jam on others.
Step 2. Next, I make sweet sandwiches. I use toast bread and cherry-flavoured jam. You could also use other flavours like raspberry, strawberry or peach. I cut out a small heart from the middle of each sandwich. The removed pieces are still used - I spread them with jam and place them on the board.
Step 3. Additional items on the board include: pink chewing gums, heart-themed lollipops, tubes, wafers, and fresh strawberries.
Step 4. But it's not over just yet because I continue to fill up the board with: raspberries, marshmallows, gummy candies, chocolates, tubes with vanilla cream, sweets, and pralines.
Step 5. And that's it! The sweetly arranged Valentine's surprise is ready to serve, enjoy!
