A new portrait of Melania Trump has been unveiled in the White House. The photograph was taken by renowned photographer Régine Mahaux and carries a special message, according to the "Daily Mail". Have a look at the First Lady of the USA.
In 2017, it took the White House nearly three months to release the official portrait of Melania Trump. This time, just 24 hours after Donald Trump's inauguration as the 47th President of the USA, Melania presented herself in a new portrait. The photo was taken in the Yellow Oval Room, one of Melania's favourite places.
Unlike the previous term, Melania Trump quickly established her presence in the White House. Her portrait, taken by Régine Mahaux, appeared on the White House website immediately following the photos of the president and vice president. This is a sign that Melania is ready to take on her new role.
This is the message the portrait of Melania Trump in the White House conveys
In the new portrait, Melania appears in a Dolce & Gabbana suit, continuing her past fashion choices. This time, however, she has refrained from wearing jewellery, which – according to the media – emphasises her independence and self-confidence. This marks a clear shift from the style of 2017, when jewellery was more prominent.
The "Daily Mail" reports that Melania Trump exudes confidence and readiness for the challenges ahead in the portrait. She aimed to establish her presence in the White House sooner, making herself more visible from the outset compared to her husband's previous presidency.
A bold, confident, disciplined and always, sharply tailored boss was the Melania that the public got today and, up until now, was a woman that only those who worked closest with her were allowed to see – we read.
As mentioned, her commitment to her "new old" role is also symbolised by her fashion choices, namely her appearance in the aforementioned suit. Melania seems ready to support her husband in his presidency.
