The youngest Trump son, away from politics
Barron Trump, the youngest son of Donald and Melania, is currently studying at New York University.
Despite media interest, he tries to live a life away from politics, focusing on education and his passions, such as sports.
Journalist Michael Wolff, known for his books about Donald Trump, explained that the rumours about Barron were the result of jokes by White House staff. On the Daily Beast podcast, he mentioned that the jokes were about universities Trump criticised, suggesting that Barron didn't get into any of them.
A White House spokesperson responded to these reports by stating that President Trump himself didn't have to attend Harvard to succeed as a businessman and president.
Trump vs. Harvard
Let's recall that Harvard University found itself at the centre of a dispute with Donald Trump’s administration, which accused the university of anti-Semitism, lack of transparency, and failure to fulfil legal obligations.
In April, the president decided to freeze over £1.6 billion in research grants. In mid-May, Donald Trump's administration stripped Harvard University of the ability to accept international students.
Harvard decided to take legal action against the Trump administration. The university argues that the government's actions are unconstitutional and infringe upon its independence.
