Miffy Englefield: From 'The Holiday' to TikTok star
Miffy Englefield, who gained recognition for her role in "The Holiday" where she played Jude Law's daughter, is now unrecognisable. It's been 18 years since her debut in the production, and today she is a well-known creator on TikTok. How has her life unfolded after the film?
The 2006 film "The Holiday" became a Christmas classic, and its stars, such as Cameron Diaz and Jude Law, have maintained their popularity. However, not all cast members remained in the spotlight. Miffy Englefield, who played Sophie, Jude Law's character's daughter, chose a different career path.
Miffy, originally from West Sussex, was only six years old when she appeared in the film. Today, as a mother of a three-year-old daughter, she is gaining popularity on TikTok, where she is followed by 74,000 people. In an interview with MailOnline, she admitted, ""I think I've changed quite a lot since I was six, I think a lot of people have, but especially me. I'm a mum now, I've got a three year old. I feel like that's the biggest change."

During the pandemic, Miffy started creating content on TikTok, which became a new form of expression for her. "I live quite far away from the rest of my family, so I was pretty isolated. I'd start talking about the holiday a little bit on there and I do a lot of secondhand shopping and things like that. It's been fabulous, I've met so many lovely people through it and I love it I absolutely love posting on there," she said. Her daughter Frankie watched "The Holiday" as a small child, which became a family joke, although Miffy herself hasn’t watched the film for years because she feels awkward seeing herself as a child.
The film "The Holiday" is a charming romantic comedy about love and friendship that won the hearts of viewers worldwide. It tells the story of two women, Iris (Kate Winslet) and Amanda (Cameron Diaz), who decide to swap homes over the holiday period. Each of them, seeking an escape from relationship problems, finds unexpected romance in a new place.
Iris, exchanging her English countryside for sunny Los Angeles, meets the composer Miles (Jack Black), with whom she quickly finds common ground. Meanwhile, Amanda, arriving in the snowy English countryside, meets Graham (Jude Law), Iris's brother, and a romance blooms between them. The film, directed by Nancy Meyers, is loved for its festive atmosphere and vibrant cast.
The production earned the status of a Christmas classic, thanks in part to its remarkable cast, including Cameron Diaz, Kate Winslet, Jude Law, and Jack Black. Released in 2006, it continues to be a staple of Christmas TV viewings.
