Missile assault shakes Kyiv: Fires erupt in multiple districts

The Mayor of Kyiv, Vitali Klitschko, detailed that fires occurred in three city districts as a result of the missile strike. "Fires were recorded in Darnytskyi, Solomianskyi and Obolonskyi districts of the city. There are victims in the Darnytskyi district. Medics and other services are at the scene," Klitschko stated.
"Explosions in the capital. Air defence is in operation," Klitschko wrote on Telegram. "The missile attack on Kyiv continues. Stay in shelters!" Sirens sounded twice in Kyiv; the first time around 1 a.m. with the alarm lasting about 2.5 hours, and then again around 4 a.m. when explosions were also heard.
