NATO urged to confront Putin as global tensions rise

Sikorski: "The world is not going in the right direction"
Sikorski noted that the international climate around Poland has worsened, similar to the entire European Union. - The world is not going in the right direction - he assessed. He also mentioned the upcoming policy address, which he will deliver on 23 April, where he will discuss these changes in more detail.
Sikorski also confirmed that the new government in Germany is sending signals of wanting to maintain close relations with Poland.
- We are receiving signals of a desire to maintain very close relations with Poland. Politicians of the victorious Christian Democratic Party have even talked about it at election rallies, which may mean that the slogan "we want good relations with Poland" is popular in Germany - said the minister. He also expressed hope for new joint projects, such as missile defence based on Polish radars and German missiles.
