Moreover, you don't need to turn on the oven or worry about the cake rising properly. It's a delicious "sure thing" for special occasions when you want to astonish guests with an unusual afternoon treat without spending too much time in the kitchen.

No-bake wafer rolls cake

The cake quickly wins over taste buds. Moreoover, you don't need to fret about achieving incredible visual effect – simply purchase wafer rolls and you're all set.

The combination of sweet cream, crunchy tea biscuits or sponge cakes, and delicate wafer rolls will delight all your guests. Prepare it the day before – the cake should spend at least a few hours in the fridge. This will allow the wafer rolls inside to soften, facilitating easy slicing.

Ingredients:

  • 3 packages of vanilla pudding mix without sugar,
  • 3 cups of milk (approx. 2.5 litres),
  • 3 tablespoons of sugar,
  • 200 grams of butter,
  • 4 tablespoons of icing sugar,
  • about 25 pieces of cocoa tea biscuits,
  • 2 packages of wafer rolls with cocoa or nut filling,

Glaze:

  • 100 grams of milk chocolate,
  • 100 millilitres of heavy cream.

Instructions:

  1. Pour two cups of milk into a pot and bring to a boil.
  2. In a jug, thoroughly mix the pudding powder with the remaining milk, pour into the pot, add sugar, and cook until a thick pudding forms.
  3. Cover the pot with cling film to prevent a skin from forming and set aside to cool.
  4. Cream the butter with the icing sugar until a fluffy, light mass forms.
  5. Gradually add the cooled pudding to the creamed butter, mixing continuously.
  6. Line a baking pan about 24×24 centimetres with parchment paper or cling film.
  7. Arrange the biscuits as a base and add half of the pudding mixture.
  8. Next, tightly arrange the wafer rolls, side by side, creating a full layer.
  9. Add the remaining pudding. Finally, arrange the biscuits on top.
  10. Melt the chocolate with the cream.
  11. Decorate the cake with the glaze and place it in the fridge for a few hours, preferably overnight.

The cake is now ready to eat. Simply cut it into pieces and enjoy the delectable end result. Enjoy!
