Residents of Russia's Krasnodar region had a restless night. According to the independent Russian portal ASTRA, explosions were heard after midnight in Slavyansk-na-Kubani and Krymsk and earlier in Taganrog, in the Rostov region.

"The moment of a powerful explosion in Slavyansk-na-Kubani. Eyewitnesses report a fire near the station," reported the VChK-OGPU account on Telegram.

The attack might have lasted about two hours. Photos appeared online showing a police car blocking traffic on one of the bridges in Slavyansk-na-Kubani. "A significant part of the city is blocked," reported VChK-OGPU.

According to official information from local authorities, the air defence "repelled a massive drone attack." Governor Veniamin Kondratyev provided this information.

He stated that in Slavyansk-na-Kubani, drone debris landed in the yard of a private residence, injuring the homeowner, who received medical assistance. In the village of Chigrina in the Krasnoarmeysky district, drone fragments caused damage to a house, but no fatalities or additional injuries occurred, according to the state agency RIA Novosti.
