In this semi-final match, Arsenal were defeated at home by Paris Saint-Germain, with the only goal scored by Ousmane Dembele in just the fourth minute. The return match is scheduled for 7 May in the French capital.

The Parisians took the lead thanks to an accurate shot from Dembele, who capitalised on a pass from Khvicha Kwaratskhelia. The ball deflected off the post, catching Arsenal goalkeeper David Raya by surprise. Despite the hosts' efforts, PSG goalkeeper Gianluigi Donnarumma successfully defended his goal, including a notable save after a shot from Gabriel Martinelli.

The Londoners, despite creating chances, were unable to equalise. In the second half, their goal was disallowed after a VAR review. PSG, having previously eliminated Liverpool and Aston Villa, demonstrated their strength, with Bradley Barcola and Goncalo Ramos nearly increasing the score towards the end of the match.

Neither Arsenal nor PSG have ever won the Champions League, although both have reached the finals before. Arsenal were defeated by Barcelona in 2006, while PSG were beaten by Bayern Munich in 2020.

In the second semi-final, Barcelona and Inter Milan will face each other, with return matches scheduled for 6 and 7 May. The final is set to be held on 31 May in Munich.
