The agreement for the supply of TNT to the US Army was signed in the presence of Deputy Defence Minister Cezary Tomczyk. "This meeting is exceptional because we are sharing our capabilities and selling our products to the United States, to the company Paramount. Poland is the largest producer of TNT in NATO. Nitro-Chem is a facility we can be proud of," emphasised the Deputy Head of the Ministry of National Defence.

"Simultaneously, we are investing £570 million in new ammunition factories (calibre - ed.) 155 mm. This is a breakthrough in the Polish-American alliance and a huge step forward for our defence industry," added Tomczyk on the X platform.

He further added that the newly signed contract, worth £230 million, involves delivering 18,000 tonnes of TNT to the USA over three years. "Poland is the main supplier of TNT for the needs of the United States," said Tomczyk.

The Deputy Head of the Ministry of National Defence emphasised that in the coming years, the Ministry plans to invest around £190 million in the Bydgoszcz factory, and the investments currently underway amount to £23 million.
