Primarily produced in Austria and Slovenia, pumpkin seed oil is obtained by cold-pressing raw pumpkin seeds. A distinctive green-brown colour and a nutty aroma characterise this oil.

This oil is essential for maintaining healthy skin because of its high levels of vitamins A, C, E, D, and the B vitamin complex. Furthermore, it contains unsaturated fatty acids that strengthen skin structure. It is also rich in minerals such as zinc, magnesium, potassium, and selenium, which benefit the skin and aid in hair and nail regeneration.

Pumpkin seed oil for skin

Pumpkin seed oil is highly popular in cosmetics. Its composition, which is rich in antioxidants, effectively neutralises free radicals that contribute to skin ageing. Thanks to its moisturising and regenerating properties, it is excellent for caring for dry and mature skin. In addition, its anti-inflammatory action helps combat acne, regulate sebum production, and soothe irritations.

This oil is also increasingly used in hair care. Regularly adding it to conditioners or masks enhances the elasticity, softness, and damage resistance of hair.

A natural ally for health

Regular use of pumpkin seed oil positively affects the cardiovascular system due to its phytosterol content, which helps reduce "bad" cholesterol in the blood. Furthermore, the oil supports cancer prevention. In the kitchen, it serves as a valuable addition. Its thick consistency and intense flavour are perfect for various salads, soups, and sauces.
