Ingredients

  • 1 red onion

For the creamy mustard sauce:

  • 4 tablespoons of 18% cream (you can use natural yoghurt for a lighter sauce)
  • 1 tablespoon of mustard
  • 1 teaspoon of honey
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1-2 teaspoons of lemon juice (optional, for freshness)
  • 1 tablespoon of olive oil (optional, for a smooth consistency)

Preparation method

  1. The preparation of red cabbage coleslaw is extremely simple. Start by peeling and grating the carrot using the large holes of a grater. Then, thinly slice the cabbage and finely chop the onion, and transfer all the vegetables into a large salad bowl.
  2. In a bowl, mix 4 tablespoons of cream with 1 tablespoon of mustard. Add 1 teaspoon of honey and 1-2 teaspoons of lemon juice. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Optionally, add 1 tablespoon of olive oil for a smoother sauce. Mix everything until you achieve a uniform consistency.
