A new meeting between representatives of Ukraine and the United States regarding a ceasefire between Kyiv and Moscow is taking place on Tuesday in the capital of Saudi Arabia, reported the AFP agency, citing a source in the Ukrainian delegation. The Russians have already left Riyadh.

Talks between Russia - Ukraine - United States

The meeting in Riyadh aims to discuss the terms of a ceasefire between Kyiv and Moscow. The delegations from Ukraine and the USA are continuing discussions that began earlier, with the goal of finding common ground regarding the conflict with Russia.

On Tuesday, a statement is expected to be released from the nearly 12-hour talks between the Russian and US delegations. According to the TASS agency, the Russians have already left Riyadh and will arrive in Moscow on Tuesday evening. Grigoriy Karasin, a participant in the delegation, stated that the talks with Washington were "difficult" but "constructive."

A source from the Ukrainian delegation, cited by AFP, stressed that cooperation with the Americans remains ongoing.

The President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelensky, noted that it is crucial to put pressure on Vladimir Putin to end the attacks on Ukraine. Zelensky stressed that despite the proposal for an unconditional ceasefire, Russia continues its attacks, prolonging the conflict.

Massive attacks on Ukrainian cities

In the past week, Russians used drones to attack residential areas of the city of Kropyvnytskyi in central Ukraine. "It's just hell," could be read on one of the Telegram channels. On 20th March, Ukrainian sources reported a massive Russian attack on Odesa. During the night attack on Ukraine on 23rd March, Russia used 150 drones. According to the Ukrainian Air Force, 100 of them were successfully shot down. Unfortunately, drone debris fell on homes and streets, causing fatalities and destruction. In Kyiv, three people died, including a five-year-old child, and 10 people were injured. On Monday, Russian missiles injured over 70 people in Sumy. Damage was reported to include a school and a hospital.
