"At least 60 people have been injured," Kharkiv Mayor Ihor Terekhov stated on Telegram. "An enemy missile struck a densely populated area of Kharkiv. A high-rise building was hit. People may be trapped under the rubble," he added.

The head of the Kharkiv military administration, Oleg Synegubov, also stated that "at this moment, 13 people have been hospitalised in city hospitals, including two children. Four people are in serious condition. Doctors are providing all necessary assistance to the victims," he wrote on Telegram.

"Multi-storey residential buildings, an educational facility, and cars were damaged. The roof of a two-storey building, a workshop, and a building with a total area of about 450 square metres caught fire on the business premises," reported the local fire department.
