Sergei Lavrov claimed that the Russian-speaking population of Ukraine should not be left in the hands of the "junta", which forbids them from communicating in Russian. Meanwhile, it is precisely this group that has suffered the most in the process of alleged "liberation from the power of the Kyiv junta".

The survey results show that 11% of respondents use the Russian language in their daily lives. Among them, 23% lived in areas affected by military action, and 12% lost or have damaged homes. Additionally, 41% know people who were injured or killed as a result of the conflict.

Ukrainians have a fondness for the French, British and Poles

The survey also showed that only 13% of Russian-speaking Ukrainians have a positive attitude towards Russia. By comparison, 79% express positive opinions about France, 75% about the United Kingdom, and 71.5% about Poland. These results demonstrate how the conflict has affected Ukrainian citizens' perception of Russia.
