To scramble eggs, you need a non-stick pan where you melt the fat. According to culinary experts, the tastiest scrambled eggs are made with butter. It's better to use clarified butter because regular butter is not ideal for frying; you must be cautious it doesn’t burn, due to its low smoke point.
Fat gives scrambled eggs the right consistency and imparts a characteristic flavour. Unfortunately, this means that a seemingly small addition significantly increases the calorie content of the meal. Not everyone can handle fried dishes.
How to scramble eggs without fat?
It's simpler than you might expect. Just pour a little water into the pan, bring it to a boil, and crack in the eggs. The further procedure is exactly the same as with classic scrambled eggs. They may not be fried, but rather boiled or steamed, yet they taste very good and set quickly.
Scrambled eggs with water
Ingredients:
- 2 eggs
- salt to taste,
- 2-3 tablespoons of water,
- chives for serving.
Preparation Method:
- Break the eggs into a bowl, mix with a fork, and add salt.
- Boil water in a pan and pour in the egg mixture.
