General Valerii Zaluzhnyi, the former Chief Commander of the Ukrainian army, confirmed the existence of a secret headquarters in Wiesbaden, which is a key element in cooperation with the USA. This headquarters is involved in planning military operations against Russia, conducting war games, and reporting arms needs.
"Last week, there was much talk about Wiesbaden. This headquarters truly became a secret weapon for us and our partners in planning operations and formulating requirements for their implementation," Zaluzhnyi wrote on Facebook.
In April 2022, a centre was established to coordinate military aid deliveries to Ukraine, which was initially located in Stuttgart and later moved to Wiesbaden.
"We received various types of weapons and equipment, and with them came new challenges related to their delivery and repair," Zaluzhnyi emphasised.
He also explained the necessity of creating such a place.
— Over time, we realised, along with our partners, that we needed a joint operational headquarters to assess the demand for weapons and equipment — recalled Zaluzhnyi. This cooperation, as he explained, became particularly important in the summer of 2022 when doubts arose about the usefulness of certain types of weapons on the front line.

The Wiesbaden platform has become an excellent mechanism for interacting with Ukraine's partners concerning future military operations. Thanks to the support of the United Kingdom, this idea was realised, and Wiesbaden received a new lease of life, revealed the general. Cooperation with the USA also includes assistance in targeting objectives, including command points of Russian units and military equipment in Crimea.
