They are simple to make, require only a few ingredients, and taste absolutely delicious. There's no need for any special moulds either. A skewer stick and a piping bag will be quite helpful, making it easier to decorate the biscuits. They are ideal for both an adult gathering and a children's party.

Simple Halloween biscuits

Halloween is the perfect occasion to unleash your imagination and create sweet monsters in the kitchen. The combination of jam and shortcrust pastry is a classic that will impress everyone with its Halloween twist.

The preparation itself is quite quick, but the dough must spend a few hours in the fridge. Therefore, it's wise to plan the baking session ahead.

Ingredients:

  • 320 grams of plain flour,
  • 120 grams of icing sugar,
  • 225 grams of butter,
  • 3 egg yolks,

Additionally:

  • Half a jar of raspberry jam,
  • 1 bar of milk chocolate.

Instructions:

Step 1. Sift the plain flour and icing sugar onto a countertop or pastry board. Add the butter, chopped into cubes, and combine everything together using a knife.

Step 3. After this time, roll out the dough, dusting it with flour, and cut out circles using a cup or glass. The dough shouldn't be too thin so that shapes can be pressed into it later.

Step 4. Use your fingers to create indentations for eyes, and mark the nose with a straw. Transfer the biscuits to a baking tray lined with baking paper and fill the indentations with raspberry jam. Place them in an oven preheated to 175°C (160°C fan) for about 10 minutes.
