Trump rails against microphone woes, blames contractors

During Donald Trump's rally on Friday, an unusual situation unfolded. While the former US president was speaking, the audience began chanting a phrase he initially couldn't hear, followed by his vulgar comment. "I get so mad, I'm up here seething. I'm working my ass off with this stupid mic," was heard shortly thereafter.

At a certain point during the Friday rally in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, while Donald Trump was speaking, a chant from the audience could be heard: "Fix the mic." Initially, Trump didn’t understand the chant and began moving to the rhythm of the crowd's shouts. However, he reacted immediately and firmly once he realised what they were requesting.

"The mic is terrible ... I think this mic stinks" he suddenly stated, removing it from the stand, much to the crowd's delight.

Trump on technical issues: Because of these stupid people

Continuing his speech, Trump asked the crowd if the microphone was working better, saying "it annoys him." When the issues persisted, Trump at some point said, "You must be joking. Do you want to see me knock the hell out of people back stage?"

"I get so mad, I'm up here seething. I'm working my ass off with this stupid mic," he stated. "What crap. The only thing I ask for is a mic. And I went through two of these today," he declared, adding that it's yet another day with this kind of issue.

A moment later, Trump complained about the weight of the microphone and how low the stand was set, showing the audience that it’s difficult for him to speak in that way.

Although many of those gathered laughed at Trump's vivid depiction of the situation, some perceived that part of his speech as obscene. The former president spent significant time at his rally narrating the issues with the microphone.
