NATO Secretary General, Mark Rutte, did not wish to go into detail regarding the potential annexation of Greenland by the USA. "So the fact that the seven, outside Russia, seven Arctic countries working together on this under US leadership is very important to make sure that that region, that part of the world stays safe," stated Rutte, highlighting the interest in this area from Russia and China.
