Trump furious after Ukraine segment
Trump criticised the programme for which the Ukrainian President had previously given an interview. On "60 Minutes" CBS News, broadcast directly from Kryvyi Rih, a city attacked by Russia, Zelensky urged Donald Trump to pay a visit to Ukraine.
Zelensky stated he harbours animosity towards Vladimir Putin for the invasion of Ukraine and emphasised that Trump's visit to Ukraine could help him comprehend the war's consequences.
In the Greenland segment, the programme aired statements from residents who expressed their opposition to annexation.
The President of the USA accused the programme of defamation. He claimed that the media did everything they could to have Kamala Harris elected as President of the United States, asserting the network was involved in the "rigged elections" of 2020 in the USA.
"They are not a 'News Show,' but a dishonest Political Operative simply disguised as 'News,' and must be responsible for what they have done, and are doing," Trump wrote about "60 Minutes," announcing a lawsuit.
Meanwhile, foreign media highlight that the US President's attacks on CBS News and the "60 Minutes" programme are not unprecedented.
