  • According to a survey conducted by Ipsos for "Washington Post" and ABC News, Donald Trump is supported by only 39 per cent of respondents.
  • These are the results after 100 days in office.
  • Trump has received the lowest rating among US presidents since World War II.

The survey results reveal that Trump has the lowest support compared to his predecessors. For comparison, George W. Bush had 47 per cent support after 100 days in office in 2001, and Barack Obama enjoyed 50 per cent support after 100 days of his second term. Notably, Trump issued 142 executive orders, making him the leader in this category.

What are the effects of Trump's actions on the economy?

The "Washington Post" notes that major US stock indices, such as the S&P 500, recorded declines after 100 days of the new presidential term. The S&P 500 fell by 8.6 per cent from 20th January, marking the worst performance since George W. Bush, when the index fell by 6.9 per cent.

Journalists also stress that Trump spent nearly every weekend on the golf course, which mirrors his previous accusations against Obama.

Trump is accused of spending too much time playing golf instead of focusing on running the country. In 2011, he criticised Obama for similar behaviour. Trump's current actions are assessed based on the president's schedule and media reports.
