The visit of US President Donald Trump to Saudi Arabia is not related to a potential meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin. This was stated by Kremlin spokesperson Dmitry Peskov, indicating that there are currently no plans for such a meeting, as reported by "Kommersant".

On 1st April, the White House Press Secretary, Caroline Leavitt, announced that Donald Trump will travel to Saudi Arabia in May.

This will be his first international trip since starting his second term. Despite speculation that Saudi Arabia could be the venue for a Trump-Putin meeting, the Kremlin denies such plans.

According to a source from Axios, the purpose of Trump's visit is to strengthen relations with Gulf countries and discuss conflicts in the Middle East. The White House has not disclosed specific aims for the visit, but it is known that Russian and US delegations have already held talks in Saudi Arabia.
