Trump's upcoming Walter Reed visit: Health check amidst scrutiny
President Donald Trump announced on Monday that he will visit the Walter Reed Medical Centre this Friday for his annual examination. He emphasised that he has never felt better.
"I am pleased to report that my long scheduled Annual Physical Examination will be done at Walter Reed Army Medical Center on Friday of this week. I have never felt better, but nevertheless, these things must be done!" – Trump wrote on Truth Social.

The AFP agency notes that Donald Trump does not drink alcohol and does not smoke. However, he does not hide his fondness for fizzy drinks and fast food.
American presidents usually visit Walter Reed in Maryland for routine annual exams. The White House physician later announces the results to the public.
Donald Trump will celebrate his 79th birthday in June. By the end of his second term, he will be 82, making him the oldest person to hold the office of president in US history.
According to "The Hill" portal, Trump has revealed little information about his physical health since the end of his first presidential term in 2020. In November 2023, the Republican's campaign team assured the public that he is in "excellent health," without providing details.
Trump and his entourage have also provided relatively scant information about his recovery and any potential long-term effects of being shot, which occurred in July 2024. The then White House physician, Ronny Jackson, stated at the time that he examined the president's injuries.
Former Vice President Kamala Harris's campaign pressured Trump to deliver his medical records. The Democrats' demands intensified after Biden's age became one of the main topics of his opponents during the re-election campaign in 2024.
