The rich taste of the broth and its substantial nutritional value make it a dish eagerly served not only at family dinners but also as a natural way to strengthen the body.

Add to the chicken soup: It will be even healthier and tastier

How can we make the dish support our bodies even more? Adding turmeric to the chicken soup enhances this dish with anti-inflammatory and anti-cancer properties, thanks to the curcumin it contains, which acts as a powerful antioxidant. Turmeric supports the liver and digestive system, making it an excellent ingredient in the daily diet.

Ginger is another subtle ingredient that can boost the health benefits of chicken soup. Its unique anti-inflammatory and antibacterial properties make it an ideal addition for fighting colds and infections. It has a warming effect, which is especially desirable on cooler days. Moreover, ginger contains substances that support digestion, warm the body, and alleviate pain symptoms.

Recipe for chicken soup with turmeric and ginger

How can you make chicken soup with turmeric and ginger? Anna Trzyna shared this on her Instagram profile. She prepared the broth from two types of meat: chicken drumsticks and beef shin, root vegetables (three carrots, a piece of celery, two parsnips, a piece of leek, a previously charred onion), as well as four cloves of garlic and a few allspice berries and bay leaves. She simmered the broth over a low heat for six hours. Half an hour before finishing cooking, she added a grated piece of ginger and turmeric.

Trzyna suggests serving the broth in mugs and drinking it as a warming drink with the addition of chilli flakes and parsley.
