Horror on the beach - the ball with an 8-year-old inside was swept away by the wind. The news site i.pl, citing the aRede portal, reports on the dramatic moments in Brazil. As we read, the 8-year-old boy and his family were enjoying aquazorbing. This activity involves getting inside an inflatable ball to virtually walk on water.

Unfortunately, while the boy was experiencing this, the rope holding the ball suddenly broke. The wind caused the ball to drift away from the shore. A dramatic effort began to save the child taken by the ocean.

Fortunately, witness Rafael Graca was in the right place at the right time. The man was sailing his boat when he noticed the ball with the boy trapped inside.

I was worried about whether he was able to breathe or not because the balls can be dangerous. There is a certain amount of time that you can breathe inside it. I calmed him down, and that was when my daughter started filming - Rafael Graca said in an interview with "The Mirror".

The ball hit the rocky shore. It was punctured, and water began to enter. Fortunately, the 32-year-old witness managed to quickly reach the boy. It is known that the boy was frightened but able to breathe. Rafael had to act decisively yet cautiously - the ball could take on more water at any moment. It couldn't be opened. However, with the help of a rope, they managed to pull it in. The boy was taken safely to shore, where his distraught family were already waiting. Karoline Magalhaes from the Marine Firefighters Group mentioned that such balls, like the one the 8-year-old was in, should be used in swimming pools, not open waters.

This type of toy is new to us on the beaches. It comes from pool environments, and now we're starting to experience some issues because the ball is easily blown away by the wind - she stated.

Visitors are now being warned that such attractions can pose significant risks to health and life.
