Tonight, intense activity of the Russian Federation's long-range aviation was observed, related to missile strikes carried out on facilities located on the territory of Ukraine, reported on the X platform by the Operational Command.
The nighttime missile and drone attack from Thursday night to Friday lasted 9 hours. An air raid alarm was announced across the entire territory of Ukraine due to the threat of a missile attack from a Tu-95MS aircraft, reported the channels monitoring the situation in the air.
The cities of Dnipro, Kamianske, Pavlohrad, Kremenchuk, Ivano-Frankivsk, certain districts of the Dnipropetrovsk region, and specific facilities in the Lviv region were targeted. Attacks also occurred on Ukraine's energy infrastructure, focusing on the Ukrainian energy complex.
Poland scrambles fighters
In response to the attacks on Ukraine, Polish and allied aircraft have been scrambled.
"Please note that Polish and allied aircraft are currently in operation within Polish airspace, which may result in elevated noise levels, particularly in the southeastern part of the country", wrote the Polish Operational Command on X.
