Ukraine urges US response after Russian attacks on Kherson

During a press conference in Paris, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky stated that if an agreement was broken and attacks on Kherson occurred—causing damage to the energy sector and leaving civilians without power—there should be a response from the United States. He underscored that Russia had violated the moratorium on strikes targeting the energy infrastructure.

Earlier, the Office of the Prosecutor General of Ukraine reported that as a result of Russian artillery shelling in Kherson, southern Ukraine, two people were killed and four were injured.

Rescue workers were extinguishing a fire that broke out as a result of the heavy shelling of the central part of Kherson by the Russians.

They were then attacked by a hostile drone.

The Russians launched an attack on Kherson. There are casualties

On Thursday afternoon, Russian soldiers conducted artillery shelling of the city of Kherson. As a result of the shelling, two civilians, a woman and a man, were killed - Ukrainian services reported.

Of the four injured people, two are civilians and two are medical rescuers. "A medical rescuer and a driver arrived on the scene to help the victims and came under fire. All the injured were hospitalised" - stated in the communication.
