The Ukrainian air defence successfully neutralised 100 out of 179 drones that were deployed by Russian forces to attack Ukraine. This information was conveyed by the Ukrainian Air Force, highlighting that the attack was launched from various locations, including Millerovo and Primorsko-Akhtarsk in Russia, as well as Cape Chauda in Crimea.

The downing of 100 drones, including Shahed and other types of unmanned aerial vehicles, occurred in the south, north, and centre of Ukraine. Additionally, 63 drones were incapacitated through electronic warfare measures. The attack caused damage to infrastructure in the Zaporizhzhia, Kharkiv, Sumy, and Kyiv regions.

The Russian forces utilised 179 Shahed strike drones and various types of decoy drones. This assault is yet another example of the intensification of military activities in Ukraine. The Ukrainian Air Force emphasises that their defensive actions are vital for protecting the country from further destruction.
