Many of the reports provided by Russian media or government representatives are part of the ongoing propaganda efforts. Such reports are elements of the information war conducted by the Russian Federation.

Early on the morning of 11 March, Ukrainian drones reportedly carried out a massive attack on Moscow, according to the city's mayor, Sergei Sobyanin. He stated that approximately 69 drones were shot down as they approached the town from around 2:30 to 5:00 GMT.

As a result of falling debris in the Moscow region, one person died – a security guard at the "Miratorg" distribution centre in Domodedovo. At the time of the drone strike, he was near a car in the parking lot, according to the portal Shot. A severe fire destroyed 20 vehicles. Three people were injured in the cities of Vidnoye and Domodedovo, reported the governor of the Moscow region, Andrei Vorobyov.

Kyiv has not yet commented on the incident.

Emergency services received reports concerning the drones from Kolomna, Zaraysk, Serebryanye Prudy, Serpukhov, Ramenskoye, Voskresensk, Lukhovitsy, Bronnitsy, Domodedovo, the Leninsky district, Podolsk, Elektrostal, and Kotelniki, said Vorobyov.

The Moscow railway reported that the infrastructure at Domodedovo station suffered minor damage from falling drone debris. No injuries were reported. Repair teams are working on-site, and training service workers in Moscow has been delayed. Due to the drone attack, the "Carpet" plan was implemented at Zhukovsky and Domodedovo airports, imposing restrictions on air traffic.

The previous most significant Ukrainian drone attack on Moscow took place on 10 November last year, during which 32 drones were destroyed approaching the capital.

Attack on the day of talks with the USA? Delegation from Kyiv already in Saudi Arabia

Representatives of the USA and Ukraine will meet in Saudi Arabia on Tuesday. This will be the first meeting between delegations from both countries since the dispute between Donald Trump and Volodymyr Zelensky at the White House.

"We hope for practical outcomes. Ukraine's position in these talks will be fully constructive," assured Zelensky in a post on the platform X.

The Ukrainian delegation in Saudi Arabia includes key representatives, such as Andriy Yermak, head of the presidential office; Andriy Sybihy, Minister of Foreign Affairs; and Rustem Umerov, minister of defence.

President Zelensky, though present in Saudi Arabia, will not participate in the negotiations.
