Ukrainian soldiers have repeatedly shown on the front lines that they are well-trained. This applies to both aviation and infantry. The Ukrainian army also has incredibly effective snipers. Evidence of this is the footage that appeared online.

It shows a Ukrainian sniper targeting incoming Russian drones. The soldier shoots at successive drones, neutralising them in combat. To neutralise the drones, he uses a .308 calibre weapon. This type of weapon is used, for example, for hunting large game such as deer and boar.

A sniper with the 3rd company of the Materyk Battalion, call sign "Mielkii" ("Little One"), shoots down Russian drones with a 308-caliber rifle in the Vovchansk direction, wrote Ukrainian war blogger and former politician Anton Herashchenko on the platform X.

The recording was originally published on Telegram by soldiers from the Operational-Tactical Group Kharkiv. The video material shown is impressive. In the brief video, you can see the sniper following the "escaping drone" with his scope.

The sniper fired several shots at the military aircraft. He ultimately managed to shoot down the enemy's drone.
