Warehouse inferno in Nizhny Novgorod: No casualties reported
Plumes of black smoke are rising over Nizhny Novgorod in Russia. According to REN TV, a warehouse used for the production and storage of insulation materials is on fire.
As reported by Exilenova+, an air raid alert was previously issued in the region due to the threat of drone attacks. Shortly after, residents posted photos online showing a column of black smoke.
The Russian Ministry for Emergency Situations reported that a production and storage building is on fire over an area of about 8,400 square metres. The roof has collapsed inside. There are no reports of casualties.
There are more than 100 firefighters at the scene.
