Ribs are a part of the pork, beef, or lamb carcass. It is a long piece of meat with bones. It is the presence of the latter that gives ribs additional flavour during cooking, baking, or stewing. In their case, one cannot forget about the marinade, as it will make them juicy and aromatic.
What to do to make ribs juicy?
Choosing the right ribs is the key to success. What should you pay attention to when shopping? First and foremost, the freshness of the meat. It's best to buy them in reputable meat stores. Fresh ribs should have a pink, uniform colour without discolouration. When purchasing, also pay attention to the fat content—a small amount of it will make the meat more juicy after preparation.
If you do not plan to cook the ribs immediately, store them in the refrigerator for a maximum of two days. You can also freeze them, and in that case, you must use them within a few months. To ensure frozen ribs retain their quality, it is worth securing them well, wrapped in cling film or placed in airtight containers.
