Rosemary and citrus brew for colds
Ingredients:
- A few sprigs of fresh rosemary,
- A few to several cloves (they have an intense flavour and may not suit everyone; it's better to adjust the number to your own preferences),
- Lemon,
- Lime,
- A few slices of fresh ginger,
- 2 tablespoons of honey,
- 4 cups of water,
- Optional: a handful of cranberries.
Instructions:
- It's really very simple. First, prepare a large jug or pot. Place the rosemary, cloves, sliced citrus fruits, ginger, and a handful of cranberries inside.
- Pour boiling water over all the ingredients. Wait for the brew to cool and then sweeten it with honey. This adds new nutritional properties and makes it slightly sweeter.
The brew also serves as an air freshener, a lesser-known benefit. If you don't enjoy the taste, you can add more cloves for an unforgettable fragrance.
