Shower cabins in modern bathrooms come in various shapes, yet they share two common characteristics: they are made of glass, preventing the entire bathroom from flooding, and keeping them spotless is quite a task.

During a shower, water droplets containing mineral particles—leading to white limescale buildup—as well as traces of cosmetics, accumulate on the glass walls. The result? Instead of clear glass, we face a persistent problem that even premium cleaning products often can't solve.

A good cleaner for the shower cabin? You can make it yourself!

How can you clean a shower cabin of limescale and soap scum? Surprisingly, there's no need to purchase expensive products. The solution could be right in your kitchen! You can prepare your own shower cleaner by mixing about 375 ml of vinegar, two pumps of dishwashing liquid, and two teaspoons of rinse aid. Mix it and pour it into a spray bottle.

Spray the inside of the shower cabin thoroughly with the homemade solution. The next step is to scrub it vigorously with a sponge. Then, just wait and observe the magic.

A secret weapon against dirt. You'll find it in your cupboard

The vinegar in this mixture will effectively break down soap scum and limescale. Finally, rinse everything off, and your cabin glass will shine. Remember to ventilate the area, as the smell may be strong.

Another method involves using a dishwasher tablet. You can dissolve it in warm water and scrub the cabin walls with the solution, or slice open a sponge, insert the unwrapped tablet inside, moisten the sponge with warm water, and clean the cabin.
