Why make cheese cookies?
Cheese cookies with sugar are a true classic that combines ease of preparation with exceptional taste. Thanks to the addition of cottage cheese, these cookies are not only soft and delicate but also more filling and moist than traditional crispy cookies. Cottage cheese, along with its protein and calcium, adds a delicate tangy note that contrasts perfectly with the sweetness of sugar. It's an excellent idea for a dessert without baking powder or yeast – the magic lies in the right proportions of fat and cheese. Moreover, these cookies can be made in advance and stored in a tin; over time, they gain in crispiness, and their flavour deepens.
