On Saturday, the authorities of Novorossiysk, a city situated on the Black Sea, declared a state of emergency. This decision came in response to a Ukrainian drone attack. Local authorities reported that the attack injured five people, including two children. Residential buildings also sustained damage.
The mayor of Novorossiysk, Andrei Kravchenko, announced the state of emergency via his official Telegram account. In the released recording, the mayor is seen inspecting the damage and issuing orders to officials. One of the injured individuals, a woman, is in critical condition in the hospital.
So far, the Ukrainian side has not issued any statements regarding the attack on the Russian port city.

In recent days, Kharkiv and four localities in the Kharkiv region have been the targets of intense attacks by Russia. These actions resulted in a 47-year-old man being killed, and 48 people were injured. The attacks were carried out using various weapons, including aerial bombs and drones.
Over the past 24 hours, Russian strikes on Kharkiv and four other locations in the northeastern Kharkiv region have left one person dead and 48 injured, according to a Saturday morning report by Oleh Syniehubov, head of the regional administration.
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky emphasized that Russia is targeting residential areas, leading to tragedies among civilians. "Right now, Russia is yet again attacking Ukraine. Kharkiv has been hit by dozens of 'Shahed' drones. (...) Russia is striking residential areas precisely when Ukrainians are at home, when they are putting their children to bed," Zelensky noted.
