Burn marks and dried grease can be difficult to remove from the surface of a pan. Many such items are not suitable for dishwashers, and just using dish soap often proves too weak to get rid of all the grime. That's when products with cleaning properties we might not be aware of come to the rescue.

A simple trick for a clean pan. It will shine with cleanliness

If you're struggling with particularly stubborn grease dried on the pan, wait until the dish cools down, then sprinkle a teaspoon of baking soda and a little water on it. You'll immediately see how this product works. Thoroughly wipe the dirty pan – everything should be removable without issues. The baking soda will dissolve the dirty residue.

This is not the only method, though. If you don't have baking soda handy and the dish smells like burnt food, use vinegar. Soak paper towels in the product and apply them to the dirty areas. Leave the pan for several minutes. After the designated time, wash it thoroughly under running water. The vinegar should dissolve the grime, making it easy to remove. Moreover, this liquid will not only act on internal but also external dirt on the dish.

A surprising method

There is yet another way to tackle stubborn dirt stuck to the pan, and it's eco-friendly, too. All you need are eggshells, dish soap, and a bit of water.

Crush the eggshells into a fine powder, add a few drops of dish soap and a little water. Mix the ingredients, and using a sponge, apply the resulting paste to the pan. Then clean the pan thoroughly – the dirt will come off its surface along with the eggshell "paste." This method is not only environmentally friendly but also economical, as it saves us from spending on expensive commercial cleaning products for dirty surfaces.
