Elevate your Easter table with savoury cakes and French delights
You can prepare many delicious desserts in an Easter cake mould, which will work perfectly as a tasty table decoration. Among the many Easter ideas, the snow cake stands out. It's not only very easy to prepare but also offers many possibilities for recipe modification.
Instead of the classic Easter cake, surprise guests with not only a white, fluffy dessert but also a savoury version of the cake. A savoury cake, with added herbs, cheese, and vegetables, also looks impressive on the Easter table. Serve it as an addition to sour soup or as a standalone snack. Add broccoli or sun-dried tomatoes to the batter for a more intense flavour.
French Savarin cake
Another interesting idea for Easter is the French Savarin cake, a soft cake soaked in rum. The dessert can also be prepared in a non-alcoholic version using orange juice. Savarin cake is served with whipped cream and fruits in a sweet syrup.
