Euphoria's return: New season set to begin filming in 2025
What's next for "Euphoria"? Fans of the series are eagerly anticipating the premiere of the next season, much like waiting for the first star on Christmas Eve. Behind closed doors, producers are working hard to meet the expectations of viewers with this tale about rebellious teenagers.
There's nothing more exciting for a TV show fan than awaiting the premiere of the next season of a favourite series. It's a time full of emotions, speculations, and nervously counting down the days until beloved characters return to the screen. Every trailer, leaked information, or photo from the set acts as a small ray of hope, further fuelling the appetite for what's to come.
However, this anticipation also has its challenges. Long breaks between seasons can be frustrating, and worries about the direction the plot will take can keep fans up at night. In the age of streaming, where many are used to watching entire seasons "all at once," the need to patiently wait for the next episodes is reminiscent of the days of classic television. But this thrill of excitement—waiting, hoping, and uncertainty—makes TV premieres particularly special.
When will "Euphoria" return?
According to sources from "Rolling Stone," work on the third season of "Euphoria" will begin in January 2025. Zendaya, Hunter Schafer, Maude Apatow, Sydney Sweeney, Alexa Demie, and Jacob Elordi are set to reunite on set. However, Barbie Ferreira will not be returning due to a falling-out with the show's producers in 2022. In July of this year, HBO executive Francesca Orsi mentioned in an interview with "The Hollywood Reporter": "I am thrilled that we are ready to begin production on Euphoria in January. We could not be happier with our creative partnership with Sam and this incredible cast. We look forward to bringing this new season of Euphoria to life for the fans."
Unofficial reports suggest that the premiere of the third season of the HBO production may take place in 2026, though no specific date has been confirmed yet.
