A horrifying "extermination camp" has been discovered in Mexico, likely linked to one of the country's most ruthless drug cartels. This site is already being compared to Auschwitz. Intensive work has recently been undertaken there.

This "camp" is located on an abandoned ranch south of Guadalajara, Mexico’s second-largest city. Disturbing images have surfaced online, revealing the tragic fate that befell hundreds of the cartel's victims.

According to "The Washington Post," over 110,000 people have gone missing in Mexico in recent years. Searches for the missing were led by members of a Facebook group "Guerreros Buscadores de Jalisco" (Jalisco Search Warriors), which includes relatives of victims. They stumbled upon the grim traces.

Shocking discovery in Mexico

On March 5, 2025, a search team arrived at the abandoned ranch near La Estanzuela. They soon discovered three underground furnaces containing hundreds of fragments of human bones - skulls, fingers, teeth. Everything indicates this location was used for mass executions and body burning - writes ladbible.com.

One of the photos shows hundreds of pairs of shoes, inevitably evoking associations with Auschwitz-Birkenau, where piles of personal belongings of Holocaust victims were left behind.

Jose Ramon Cossio, former president of the Mexican Supreme Court, remarked in an interview with Aristegui Noticias Radio that the connection to Auschwitz is instantly apparent.

Among the found items, a love letter written in 2003 by a man named Eduardo Lerma caused a great stir.

My love, if one day I don't return, I only ask that you remember how much I love you - he wrote.

These words have become a symbol of the tragedy faced by hundreds of families who lost their loved ones in the brutal drug war.

The President of Mexico reacts

The president of Mexico, Claudia Sheinbaum, confirmed that the case has been taken over by federal investigative services.

She stressed the importance of conducting a thorough investigation into the case, acknowledging the deeply distressing nature of the images. As Bloomberg reported, it is crucial to fully understand what transpired before reaching further conclusions.

The case is highly controversial because in September 2024, the Mexican National Guard raided this facility and arrested 10 people, but no further actions were taken. Only now, thanks to the efforts of the search group, has the truth come to light.

It is not yet clear who is exactly behind the horrific acts. Reports from Mexico, however, suggest that it could be one of the country's largest cartels - Jalisco New Generation.
